IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Indianapolis, IN)

Summit Fern Freight is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
