IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Indianapolis, IN)

Stonegate Sparrow Telecom is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for field visits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 213 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Indianapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
