IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Indianapolis, IN)

Harborlight Quill Civic Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for constituent requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
