IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Quill Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Houston. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with contractor visits. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
