IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Houston, TX)

Summit Keystone Civic Services supports public agencies in Houston with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Houston. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
