IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Honolulu, HI)

Northwind Pike Manufacturing makes precision components in Honolulu, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu. • We reply to every applicant.
