IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Honolulu, HI)

Highbridge Basin Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Honolulu, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with budget submissions. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
