IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Honolulu, HI)

We are growing our team at Amberfield Mill Energy and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Honolulu. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with hardship programmes. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
