IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Hartford, CT)

Highbridge Drift Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Hartford, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
