IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Hartford, CT)

Cedar Rowan Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Hartford, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
