IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Fresno, CA)

Nova Loom Insurance is an insurance company in Fresno with claims and service teams. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with customer complaints. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
