IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Fort Worth, TX)

Redstone Orchard Freight is a Fort Worth logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
