IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (El Paso, TX)

We are growing our team at Bright Lakeside Arts Center and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in El Paso, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
