IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Detroit, MI)

Clearpath Lakeside Telecom Partners is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for service installations, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 50 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with service installations. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
