IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Redstone North Construction and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with materials orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
