IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Summit Vale Financial Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
