IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Detroit, MI)

Harborlight Fern Inspection Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for test reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
