IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Detroit, MI)

Nova Thistle Learning Group runs classrooms and tutoring across the Detroit area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
