IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Detroit, MI)

Highbridge Meadow Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Detroit, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
