IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Des Moines, IA)

Silverline Juniper Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Des Moines, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
