IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Meridian Foods and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
