IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Mill Energy Group and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 67 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with outage response. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
