IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Des Moines, IA)

Redstone Cedar Civic Services supports public agencies in Des Moines with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
