IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Field Staffing is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for retention, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with retention. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
