IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Facilities Group is a facilities company in Des Moines with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
