IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Ember Community Partners and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
