IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Des Moines, IA)

Lumen Yarrow Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Des Moines, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
