IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak West Inspection Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
