IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Dallas, TX)

Ironwood Beacon Community Partners Group is a Dallas charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with food distribution. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
