IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Dallas, TX)

Foxglove West Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for school partnerships, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with school partnerships. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Dallas. • We reply to every applicant.
