IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Dallas, TX)

Ironwood Linden Civic Services supports public agencies in Dallas with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Dallas. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
