IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Columbus, OH)

Westbrook Pike Staffing places workers with employers around Columbus, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
