IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Columbus, OH)

We are growing our team at Northwind Quarry Banking Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be network troubleshooting. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with fraud alerts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
