IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Colorado Springs, CO)

Summit Lakeside Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Colorado Springs with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Colorado Springs. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
