IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Cincinnati, OH)

Rivermark Sparrow Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Cincinnati. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of about 702 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with hardship programmes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
