IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Cincinnati, OH)

Redstone Nest Community Partners is a nonprofit in Cincinnati supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Cincinnati. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
