IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Cincinnati, OH)

Silverline Meadow Manufacturing Partners is a Cincinnati manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
