IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Cincinnati, OH)

Clearpath Lakeside Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Cincinnati area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
