IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Chicago, IL)

Greenridge Lantern Property Management is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for maintenance requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 175 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with maintenance requests. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
