IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Charleston, SC)

Foxglove Bright Water Authority is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 183 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification.
