IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Charleston, SC)

Clearpath Vista Water Authority Group is a public water utility serving the Charleston area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
