IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Buffalo, NY)

Redstone Cobalt Property Management is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for unit turnovers, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with unit turnovers. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
