IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Buffalo, NY)

Silverline Cross Legal Group Partners is a Buffalo practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
