IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Boston, MA)

Westbrook Amber Financial serves customers across Boston with accounts, loans and payments. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. Teams collaborate across risk, service and technology. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with loan applications. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
