IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Boston, MA)

Amberfield Quill Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Boston, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of about 263 people based in Boston. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Boston. • We reply to every applicant.
