IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Birmingham, AL)

Bright Mill Freight is a Birmingham logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
