IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Birmingham, AL)

Clearpath Ivory Hospitality Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for housekeeping schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with housekeeping schedules. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
