IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Baltimore, MD)

Summit Lakeside Banking Services is a regional lender in Baltimore with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of about 810 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Baltimore. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
