IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Austin, TX)

Summit Haven Insurance is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on network troubleshooting for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 42 people based in Austin. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
