IT Support Specialist - network troubleshooting (Anchorage, AK)

Ironwood Clear Energy Group supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Anchorage, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our network troubleshooting. You would join a large organisation of about 746 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with meter readings. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
